About us

We are a community-focused Anglican Evangelical church situated in the mid-Cheshire town of Winsford. Our church family consists of a diverse group of people from 0 to 100 years and we have active groups for all ages.

Our services are open, family-friendly times, where we sing a range of traditional and contemporary songs as well as read, pray and look at the bible together. We have activities for all of our younger members during the sermon. As a church we want to share and demonstrate God’s love for people and our community.

If you are not able to join us for our Sunday services feel free to come along to one of our regular activities such Welcome Social on Tue from 9am-12noon or our Wednesday Holy Communion from 10-11.30am.

Christ Church is within the Conservative Evangelical tradition of the Church of England. As a parish that rejects the leadership/ordination of women. It receives alternative episcopal oversight from the Bishop of Ebbsfleet (currently Bishop Rob Monroe).
