Christ Church Wharton

We believe that Jesus Christ came ‘not to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many.’ That’s good news for the world, for Winsford and for you.

Our services are on Sundays at 10am & Holy Communion is every Wednesday at 10am.

Christ Church is within the Conservative Evangelical tradition of the Church of England. As a parish that rejects the leadership/ordination of women. It receives alternative episcopal oversight from the Bishop of Ebbsfleet (currently Bishop Rob Monroe).

The church supports missionary groups such as Open Doors, Crosslinks, Good News for Everyone, North West Gospel Partnership and The Church Society.

Live-streamed Sunday Service

Our regular 10am Sunday Service is live-streamed on YouTube. You can watch our sermons live on YouTube or catch up later if you wish on our YouTube channel.

Noah’s Ark

Noah’s Ark runs on Mondays at 10am term time only and is a parents and toddlers group. It is held in our main church building.

Welcome Social

A safe, warm and welcoming environment for any age adult. Refreshments and wrapped snacks available. We operate on a donations basis. Tuesdays 9am-12pm

Senior Lunches

A 2 course lunch for anyone aged 60 or over. Held on the last Wednesday of the month at 12.30pm.

Mothers’ Union

Everyone is welcome to our monthly Mothers’ Union meetings. We usually invite a speaker to talk to us. For more information please call the church office on 01606 861860. Every First Wednesday at 2pm
